US Vice President JD Vance Urges De-escalation in India-Pakistan Conflict

by PoliNexus

Washington: US Vice President J.D. Vance emphasized that the conflict between India and Pakistan is not the concern of the United States. However, he and President Donald Trump are urging both countries to de-escalate tensions. Vance stated that the US will not interfere in a war that is not related to America’s ability to control it. He highlighted the importance of diplomatic channels in resolving the conflict and expressed hope that it will not escalate into a regional or nuclear war. The Vice President’s comments come in the wake of a failed attempt by Pakistan to attack military establishments in India, which was intercepted by India’s air defense system. President Trump also expressed his desire for India and Pakistan to halt their retaliatory actions and offered to help facilitate peace between the two nations. The recent military strikes and counterattacks between India and Pakistan have raised concerns about the potential for further escalation in the region.
