Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw conducted a review of rail operations in light of tensions between India and Pakistan. He instructed railway officials to work closely with government agencies to ensure trains are running smoothly in border areas. Mr. Vaishnaw emphasized the need for both regular and special trains to be operated as necessary. In response to his directive, four special trains were promptly launched from Jammu and Udhampur.
