Pakistan accuses India of missile strikes on military bases

by PoliNexus

Pakistan has accused India of targeting three military bases with missiles, escalating tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors. Pakistan’s military spokesperson, Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, stated that Indian missiles were intercepted by Pakistani air defenses. Video footage showed flames and smoke at Nur Khan air base in Rawalpindi, near Islamabad. Pakistan claimed India fired ballistic missiles in return, hitting parts of Indian territory. India had previously accused Pakistan of launching drone strikes, which Pakistan denied. The tit-for-tat exchanges mark a dangerous escalation between the two countries.
