India Retaliates Against Pakistani Attacks | Tensions Escalate

Escalating tensions saw Pakistan target 15 Indian military installations. In response, India retaliated by neutralizing air defense systems in Lahore. This retaliation came after India destroyed nine terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir following a terror attack in Pahalgam. Indian armed forces used attack drones to target Pakistan’s air defense and radar facilities in Lahore. The Ministry of Defence confirmed that Pakistan attempted to engage military targets in Northern and Western India using drones and missiles, but these were neutralized. Indian forces also targeted air defense radars and systems in Pakistan with the same intensity. Israeli Harops were likely used to strike Pakistani military facilities. Foreign Secretary Misri emphasized that India’s response was focused on terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and aimed at de-escalating the situation. Misri also highlighted Pakistan’s history of cross-border terrorism against India and criticized their actions. The Ministry of Defence condemned Pakistan’s unprovoked firing across the Line of Control, which resulted in innocent lives lost, prompting India to respond. Indian Armed Forces reiterated their commitment to non-escalation, provided it is respected by Pakistan.
