Over the weekend, a fleet of approximately 150 military vehicles from the German armed forces, known as the Bundeswehr, will traverse the country. The 701st Armored Engineer Battalion is being repositioned for training exercises, with a journey of over 450 kilometers ahead. According to the Operational Command of the Bundeswehr, this movement is scheduled to take place.
The convoy will be broken down into multiple smaller groups, each traveling at different times. These slow-moving convoys may extend up to a kilometer in length. For safety reasons, the specific route has not been disclosed. The journey commenced in the eastern city of Gera, located in the state of Thuringia.
Motorists are kindly requested to maintain a safe distance and avoid driving between individual vehicles in the convoy for the sake of security.
