The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) distributed almost 1,000 appointment letters during the 15th Rozgar Mela on Saturday. The new recruits included 345 accounts officers, enforcement officers, and 631 social security assistants. The Ministry of Labour and Employment stated that this recruitment drive aims to enhance EPFO’s workforce for better delivery of social security services to subscribers nationwide.
The 15th Rozgar Mela took place at 47 locations across the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the event via video conferencing, oversaw the issuance of over 51,000 appointment letters to youth joining various governmental departments, including EPFO.
