Drones Engaged, Blackout and Sirens in Jammu, Samba, Pathankot

by PoliNexus

A blackout and sirens rang out in Jammu on Friday night following sightings of drones in Jammu, Samba, and Pathankot. Explosions were heard around 8.30 pm, and intermittent blasts continued. Residents reported enforced blackouts, and loud sounds near Badamibagh cantonment in Srinagar. Indian Army effectively retaliated against Pakistani troops’ ceasefire violations in Rajouri and Poonch sectors. Authorities urged residents to stay indoors. This followed Pakistan’s unsuccessful attempt to attack military installations in Jammu, Pathankot, and Udhampur. Jammu experienced a blackout the previous night as well, with educational institutions closed until May 12.
