In a tragic incident, six officers lost their lives after a small plane they were aboard for a parachute training exercise plunged into the sea in the Cha-am district, a popular coastal resort area approximately 130 kilometers southwest of Bangkok, Thailand, on the previous day. The accident took place during a test flight.
Upon impact, five officers perished at the scene, with another unfortunate soul succumbing to injuries later at the hospital. The Royal Thai Police have initiated an investigation, focusing on the data from the aircraft’s black box recorder to ascertain the cause of the crash.
The deceased officers comprised three pilots, an engineer, and two mechanics, all of whom were part of the Thai police force.
